Personal Story

I became acquainted with the Feldenkrais Method in 1995, when I used it to treat the physical discomfort caused by playing the cello. Following several months treatment in individual lessons, by learning how to enhance awareness of the body’s movements and how to change the technique used in playing, I managed to overcome the discomfort and began a process of learning that kept up till today. Playing and teaching the cello and the constant progress that the Feldenkrais Method enables one to achieve in developing the body’s physical capabilities combine in a manner that makes them inseparable.
